How We Develop Disciples
Our ministries revolve around the 3 Key Relationships of a Disciple’s Life.
The UPWARD DIMENSION OF FOLLOWING CHRIST: WORSHIP OF GOD
We are devoted to Worship as Individuals & Families by Faithfully Practicing the Spiritual Disciplines of Reading/Memorizing/Meditating on the Bible, Prayer, Praise, Giving, Solitude, & Silence in private and family devotions. We are devoted to Worship as a Church Family by Faithfully Participating in the weekly rhythm of gathering together to give Thanks and Praise to God, Encourage Others, Study the Bible, Pray, and Give. Daily as Individuals and Families and Every Sunday @ 10:30AM
The INWARD DIMENSION OF FOLLOWING CHRIST: DEVOTION TO A SMALL GROUP
We are devoted to Bible Study Groups (Sunday School and Bible Studies) which are offered for all ages. These groups meet to grow in faith by studying the Bible, developing friendships, encouraging one another through prayer, and serving the community through outreach ministries.

We are devoted to Sunday Night Missional Small Groups which are Groups that exist to be on mission together to reach their neighbors, friends, and neighborhoods through relationships. These groups have a monthly rhythm of Gathering for a meal and Bible Study, Scattering to develop friendships, Gathering for a meal and Bible Study along with new friends, and Scattering to Serve the Community in Practical ways.
Meet in Homes throughout our Community on Sunday Nights @ 5:00p.m.
We are devoted to PODS: These are Intensive, Invigorating, Disciple-Making Micro-Groups (2-4 People) for people on the go. PODS meet at various times and at various places that match people’s busy lifestyles. The primary focus of PODS is spiritual growth through Scripture Reading, Prayer, and Accountability. Meet throughout our Community at various times.
The OUTWARD DIMENSION OF FOLLOWING CHRIST: SHARING CHRIST AND SERVING OTHERS
As fully devoted followers of Christ, we are sent into the world, beyond gathering with other followers for worship and learning, to pour our lives out in service to others. We share the Gospel as we invest our lives into other people, seeking to minister to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of people, just as Christ did. We believe this requires that we spend significant time in our community to relate to and connect with the unreached. IBC encourages all its members to serve the Lord personally and with others by regularly serving our neighbors and community in practical ways, as well as participating in IBC’s intentional strategies of sharing our faith in Christ with others.
Ongoing service and investment into the lives of others, personally and with our Small Groups.
