Developing people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Matthew 28:18-20

MISSIONS Giving, Praying, Planting, Sending, and Going! Immanuel Baptist Church has a long history of missions support through the Lamar Baptist Association, the SBC Cooperative Program, Samaritan’s Purse, church missions groups, and individuals. We are blessed to serve monthly at our local food bank, pregnancy center and homeless shelter. In March 2015, we sponsored the Hattiesburg Korean Baptist Church as a new church plant on our campus. We are also grateful to be part of what God is doing in Cochabamba, Bolivia through the Powell family! Seth, Ashley, Cruz, Carmen, Lola (IBC members) have been serving  there since 2014! We are anticipating being part of helping send Joshua and Caitlyn Forrest from IBC as missionaries to the Middle East in 2017!

We are grateful for opportunities past, present, and future to minister locally to our community, to cooperate with other Baptist Churches through the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, and to participate with and support missions endeavors through the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
